Quality Assurance of Training Settings (QATS)
The 2017 QATS survey is now open and will close on in October 2017.
The SA MET Unit was established to monitor and improve postgraduate medical training quality in South Australia (SA) on behalf of SA Health. Standards of clinical training are determined to a large extent by the settings in which junior doctors work and learn. The Quality Assurance of Training Settings (QATS) project aims to collect information about learning environments in SA Health workplaces. It is intended that the information be used to shape ongoing improvements to the clinical training of SA’s junior medical workforce.
View the 2015 report here. Over 200 Trainee Medical Officers provided responses anonymously. The Quality Assurance of Training survey will be undertaken yearly from 2015.
