Preventing and responding to workplace bullying, harassment and discrimination

Preventing and responding to workplace bullying, harassment and discrimination guide intends to support Trainee Medical Officers and Prevocational Trainee Supervisors and Managers to prevent and respond to workplace bullying, harassment and discrimination in the workplace, by providing resources and supports, in particular:

  • Help identify what is, and what is not workplace bullying, harassment and/or discrimination.
  • Provide instructions about how to respond to and report bullying, harassment and/or discrimination.
  • Outline what is respectful behaviour and how to prevent bullying, harassment and/or discrimination.
  • Support managers and supervisors with managing their responses to reports of bullying, harassment and/or discrimination.
